Lagen Production

Produce additively manufactured automotive hardware through mass production.

 

Provide a part (model or physical hardware) to Lagen's Production team. We will validate the large scale printability and repeatability of the component. Through mass production of hardware we are able to optimize pricing, design, surface finish, dimensional conformance, and mechanical properties.

Lagen's automotive grade Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) printers use carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic filaments that are melted and extruded layer by layer to create a three dimensional component. Based on the material selected, these components can operating in up to 381.2º F (137 º F above the typical engine oil temperature of a 992.1 GT3RS). These components may be capable of handling forces as high as 85 MPa yield tensile strength. The production part will be accurate down to 7 μm (0.007").
